The Popular Action Bloc (Arabic: كتلة العمل الشعبي)is a political bloc in Kuwait headed by veteran former Speaker Ahmed Al-Sadoun. The group focuses on populist issues like housing salary raises and reform. Of the fifty elected members of Kuwait National Assembly 2012 five belong to the Popular Action Bloc: Musallam Al-Barrak Mohammad Al Khalifa Khaled Tahous Ali Al Deghbasi and party leader Ahmed Al-Sadoun. Adding to them four other MPs who are not officially members of the Bloc.
