Pinus maximinoi commonly known as thinleaf pine is a species of conifer in the Pinaceae family.It is found in El Salvador Guatemala Honduras and Mexico at elevations of 1500–2400 m (4900–7900 ft). P. maximinoi reaches a height of 15–30 m (49–98 ft) and has smooth bark when young.
