Giovanni De Gregorio known as Pietrafesa or Pietro Afesa (1579 or 1580 in Pietrafesa (now Satriano di Lucania – 1656 in Pignola active 1650) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period active in and around Naples. He was also called della Basilicata after his town of birth. He painted for churches and convents in Naples. He painted an altar-piece of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary for the chapel of the convent of Marsico Nuovo.
