Roland Pierre DuMaine (born August 2 1931) is an American Roman Catholic bishop. He was the Bishop of San José in California for the first 18 years of the diocese. DuMaine attended St. Joseph College Mountain View California and St. Patrick Seminary in Menlo Park California. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of San Francisco on June 15 1957. DuMaine earned his doctorate in education at The Catholic University of America in 1961 where he served as Assistant Professor until 1963.
