Phyllis Summers Newman (formerly Romalotti and Abbott) is a fictional character from the American CBS Daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Created and introduced by William J. Bell the character made her debut on the episode airing on October 17 1994 portrayed by Michelle Stafford. Phyllis was introduced as a groupie of rock singer Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) who claimed to have given birth to his child Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
