The PHX Sky Train is an electric people mover at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix Arizona. The first segment opened to the public on April 8 2013.The system is free and operates 24 hours a day holidays included.Shuttle buses are gradually being replaced as PHX Sky Train enters service. This will reduce road congestion pollution bus noises diesel soot and pitting and buckling of roadways caused by the heavy buses.
