Philippe Alexandre Jules Künckel d’Herculais (10 February 1843 Paris – 22 December 1918 Conflans-sur-Oise) was a French entomologist.He was the nephew of the French chemist Théophile-Jules Pelouze (1807–1867) and the son of a doctor. He lost his father when he was two years old. After his baccalauré in 1860 he entered École des mines in 1861.
