Peter Teravainen (born April 23 1956) is an American professional golfer who played mainly outside the U.S.Teravainen was born in Plymouth Massachusetts. He played college golf at Yale University graduating in 1978. He turned professional in 1979.Teravainen played on the PGA Tour in 1980 making only one cut (T-36 at the Canadian Open) in 16 tournaments. He then played on the European Tour from 1982 to 1997 winning once in 1995.
