Peter Masson was a Scottish professional darts player who competed in the 1980s. He gained his first international cap for Scotland in 1980 and went on to captain his country for 13 years the longest serving international captain in the history of the game.He won the Merseyside Darts Championship no fewer than 8 times in his career and was also Scottish Masters champion in 1981 and 1988.Masson appeared in the BDO World Darts Championship twice losing in the first round on both occasions.
