Rev. Fr. Pere Di Elbreil (1908-1964) better known as Elbariel was a Missionary of East priest philosopher and philanthropist from France. He was acknowledged as a social reformer during the 1940s. He is remembered for constructing schools and convents in and around Kallakurichi taluk India along with S.V.S.Rathinam a Philontherapist.
