This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction peptidyl-4-carboxyglutamate + 23-epoxyphylloquinone + H2O peptidyl-glutamate + CO2 + O2 + phylloquinoneThe enzyme can use various vitamin-K derivatives including menaquinone.
