The People’s Movement (ar:حركة الشعب Harakat-el-shaab) is a Lebanese political party founded in 2000 by former MP Najah Wakim and a group of intellectuals journalists radical leftist and Arab nationalist trade union movements.The People’s Movement is particularly opposed the economic policies of Rafik Hariri and his Future Movement and adopts radical alter-globalists anti-American and anti-Israeli positions.
