Tom Fennell coached the Penn State Nittany Lions football teams from 1904 to 1908. In his five seasons he compiled a 33–17–1 record. His teams played their home games at Beaver Field in State College Pennsylvania. It was during the time in 1907 when Penn State adopted the Nittany Lion as its official mascot.
