A penicillin drug reaction is an adverse drug reaction associated with the use of penicillin. Common adverse drug reactions (≥1% of patients) associated with use of the penicillins include diarrhea hypersensitivity nausea rash neurotoxicity urticaria and superinfection (including candidiasis).
