Paul Gulacy (born August 15 1953) is an American comic book illustrator best known for his work for DC Comics and Marvel Comics and for drawing one of the first graphic novels Eclipse Enterprises’ 1978 Sabre: Slow Fade of an Endangered Species with writer Don McGregor. Paul was hired by Marvel Comics while still a student at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Gulacy made his mark on a series that epitomized the alternative to the super-hero set: the martial arts-cum-spy epic Master of Kung-Fu.
