Paul Dognin (1856–1931) was a French entomologist who specialised in the Lepidoptera of South America.Dognin named 101 new genera of moths Dognin lived at 11 Villa Molitor Paris 16. He was a member of the Société entomologique de France.His collection (82000 specimens including 3000 Dognin types and over 300 Thierry-Mieg types) is shared between the French Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle and the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC.
