Paul Brickman (April 23 1949) is an American screenwriter and film director born in Chicago. He is best known for the film Risky Business where he served as director and screenwriter. His father Morrie Brickman created the comic strips Small Society ‘Pic-trix’ ‘Crosscut’ and ‘Blue Chips’.Paul was raised in Highland Park Illinois. Even as a young child he could observe his father’s massive drawing studio in their home.
