Patty Schnyder (born 14 December 1978 in Basel) is a former Swiss professional tennis player. She played on the WTA tour from 1993 to 2011 and reached number 7 in the world rankings. She twice defeated a reigning world no. 1 player in her career: Martina Hingis at the 1998 Grand Slam Cup and Jennifer Capriati at the 2002 Family Circle Cup.
