The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) (Kurdish: یەکێتیی نیشتمانیی کوردستان / Yeketî Niştîmanî Kurdistan Arabic: الاتحاد الوطني کوردستان Al-Ittihad Al-Watani Kurdistan) is a Kurdish political party in Iraqi Kurdistan. The PUK was founded on May 22 1975 by coordination between Jalal TalabaniNawshirwan MustafaFuad Mausm Adil Murad and Abdul Razaq Faily.
