The Parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Meycauayan Bulacan is one of the oldest parish in the whole Bulacan and even predates Immaculate Conception Church in Malolos which was built in 1580 Barasoain Church built in 1630 St. Agustine Church in Paoay Ilocos Norte built in 1604 and it is also the largest parish in Bulacan with an estimated population of about 80000 parishioners. It is also the vicarial seat of the vicariate of St. Francis of Assisi in the Diocese of Malolos.
