Paresh Baruah (Assamese: পৰেশ বৰৃৱা) also known by his alias Paresh Asom is a political activist with the rebel group ULFA which is seeking sovereignty for Assam from the Indian State. He is the vice-chairperson and the commander-in-chief of the United Liberation Front of Assam – Independent (ULFA – I). He also uses several other aliases namely Kamruj Zaman Khan Nur-uz-Zaman and Zaman Bhai.
