Para-Romani is a term used in Romani linguistics to refer non-Romani languages adopted by Romani communities but with considerable admixture from Romani (as with Yiddish or Ladino among Jews). Some Para-Romani languages have no structural features of Romani at all taking only the vocabulary from Romani[citation needed]. The technical term in linguistics for such a language is a mixed language.
