Papiamento /pæpjəˈmɛntoʊ/ or Papiamentu is the most widely spoken language on the Caribbean ABC islands having official status on the islands of Aruba and Curaçao. The language is also recognized on Bonaire by the Dutch government.Papiamento is a language derived from African and Portuguese languages with some influences from Amerindian languages English Dutch and Spanish.
