Pablo Ervin Schmitz Simon (December 3 1943) is a Roman Catholic bishop.Born in Fond du Lac Wisconsin United States Schmitz Simon was ordained to the priesthood on September 3 1970 for the Capuchin order. On June 22 1984 he was made auxiliary bishop of Elepla and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Vicariate Apostolic of Bluefields Nicaragua and was ordained bishop on September 17 1984. On July 28 1994 he was appointed bishop of the Vicariate Apostolic of Bluefields.
