Palanisamy Sathasivam (born 27 April 1949) was the 40th Chief Justice of India(19 July 2013 – 26 April 2014)]. He succeeded Altamas Kabir. He was the the second from Tamil Nadu and was succeded by Rajendra Mal Lodha.
