The Ouarsenis or Ouanchariss (Arabic: الونشريس‎ El Ouanchariss Berber: Ouarsnis meaning nothing higher in the Berber language) is a range of mountains in North-Western Algeria.The range is located at about 80 km south of the Mediterranean. It reaches its maximum elevation of 1985 m at the Mount Sidi Amar near Bordj Bounaama at about 60 km west of Tissemsilt. Another important summit is Achaoun (1850 m). The inhabitants of the region of the range are Berber people.
