One If By Land Two If By Sea is a fine dining restaurant located at 17 Barrow Street (between Seventh Avenue South and West 4th Street) in the West Village of the New York City Manhattan borough. It has been recognized for its classic menu long history and beautiful decor. [1] The restaurant operates inside a historic carriage house built in 1767. It was subsequently purchased by Aaron Burr in 1794 and rumored to be haunted by his ghost.
