Ole Danbolt Hagesæther is a Norwegian theologian with the Church of Norway. He was born 3 October 1941 in Bergen Norway and he served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Bjørgvin from 1994 until his retirement in 2008. Hagesæther is the son of theologian Olav Hagesæther.Hagesæther received his theological education from the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo and he graduated with his Cand.theol. degree in 1965.
