In Greek mythology Oecles (also Oicles – Οἰκλῆς or Oicleus – Οἰκλεύς) was an Argive king father of Amphiaraus son of Mantius or Antiphates and grandson of Melampus.He helped Heracles fight Laomedon and/or the sea monster attacking Troy and died in the battle. Others however report that he was buried in Arcadia.
