The Ochil Hills (/ˈoʊxəl/; Scottish Gaelic: Monadh Ochail – from a Celtic word root compare Old Welsh uchel meaning ‘high’) is a range of hills in Scotland north of the Forth valley bordered by the towns of Stirling Alloa Kinross and Perth.
