The O2 Apollo Manchester (formerly Manchester Apollo) is a concert venue in Ardwick Green Manchester England. Locally known as The Apollo it is a Grade II listed building with a capacity of 3500 (2514 standing 986 seats). O2 Apollo Manchester was originally built as an up-market cinema in 1938 on Ardwick Green – once a prosperous area of Manchester before slum clearance after the war.
