NSV 1436 listed in the New Catalogue of Suspected Variable Stars (NSV) is a cataclysmic variable star in the constellation Perseus. It is believed to be similar to a dwarf nova like the star U Geminorum but little is known. The last outburst observed was in late November 1948. A small outburst occurred on March 9โ€“10 2011 when it briefly reached about visual magnitude 14.5.
