Nottingham Express Transit (NET) is a light-rail tramway in Nottingham England. The first line opened to the public on 9 March 2004 having cost £200 million (equivalent to £260 million at 2014 prices) to construct. The scheme took 16 years from conception to implementation. It is operated by Tramlink Nottingham a consortium of Meridiam Infrastructure OFI InfraVia Alstom Transport Keolis VINCI Investments and Wellglade Group.
