North Country Hospital is in Newport City Vermont.It was founded in 1919. It is run by a board of trustees.Claudio Fort is president and CEO. The hospital was the only one in Vermont in 2007 to achieve 100% on all Medicaid and Medicare quality measures.Medicare has rated it a critical access hospital.
