Norlandair is an Icelandic airline. Norlandair was founded on 1 June 2008 when it acquired the Twin Otter flight operation of Air Iceland. But the company can trace its roots to a company with the same name i.e. Norlandair which was founded in 1974. That company was founded by a few aviation professionals that acquired North Air an aviation company based in Akureyri.
