Norethandrolone is an anabolic steroid. This drug was approved for sale by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1965 under the trade name Nilevar and finds legitimate use as an androgen for cases of hormonal deficiency treatment of patients with severe burns after severe trauma and for certain forms of aplastic anemia.
