Nigel Walley (born Christopher Nigel Walley 30 June 1941 in Vale Road Woolton Liverpool Lancashire) was briefly a tea-chest bass player of The Quarrymen which included John Lennon. Walley later became manager of the group. His surname has often been spelt incorrectly as ‘Whalley’ in numerous books and on web pages.
