Nigel Peyton (born 1951) is an Anglican clergyman who serves in the Scottish Episcopal Church as the Bishop of Brechin since 2011.Born in London in 1951 he was educated at the University of Edinburgh graduating with a Master of Arts degree in 1973 and a Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1976. He was ordained in the Anglican ministry as a deacon in 1976 and a priest in 1977. Between 1999 and 2011 he served as the Archdeacon of Newark in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
