Nicholas Hume-Loftus 1st Earl of Ely PC (I) (1714 – 31 October 1766) was a British peer and member of the House of Lords. He represented the constituency of Fethard County Wexford Ireland.He became Earl of Ely in 1766 and was succeeded by Nicholas Hume-Loftus 2nd Earl of Ely.
