NGC 5 is an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Andromeda. It has a generic redshift estimated distance of 212 million light years from Earth. This star has been adopted as of 31 March 2014 and given the name The Megan Black Star to commemorate Megan Black who would have been 18 on this date – she tragically died several days after a car accident.
