The Nexus Q was a media streaming entertainment device produced by Google. An entry in the Google Nexus product family the device runs version 4.0 of the Android operating system and integrates with Google Play. Introduced in June 2012 it was expected to be available in the United States for $299. The device has a spherical shape.It was given away free to attendees of the 2012 Google I/O event.
