The New South Wales Division of Local Government an agency of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in the Government of New South Wales is responsible for administering legislation in relation to local government areas in New South Wales.The division is led by its Chief Executive currently Ross Woodward who reports to the Minister for Local Government currently the Honourable Don Page MP.The division was established in 1993 pursuant to the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW).
