A neuroma /njuːˈroʊmə/ (plural: neuromata or neuromas) is a growth or tumor of nerve tissue. Neuromas tend to be benign (i.e. not cancerous); many nerve tumors including those that are commonly malignant are nowadays referred to by other terms.
