Navitus Bay is a proposed wind farm situated in the English Channel off the coast of Dorset and the Isle of Wight.The group Challenge Navitus opposes the proposals arguing that the site is unsuitable due to its size and proximity to the Jurassic Coast and the South East Dorset conurbation. Robert Syms MP for Poole has argued against the project in parliament.The proposals have been scaled back twice.
