Nathan Rosenberg (born November 22 1927 in Passaic New Jersey) is an American economist specializing in the history of technology. He earned his PhD from the University of Wisconsin in 1955 and has taught at Indiana University (1955–1957) the University of Pennsylvania (1957–1961) Purdue University (1961–1964) Harvard University (1967–1969) the University of Wisconsin (1969–1974) and Stanford University (1974–) where he is the Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr.
