The NAS Award in the Neurosciences is awarded by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences in recognition of extraordinary contributions to progress in the fields of neuroscience including neurochemistry neurophysiology neuropharmacology developmental neuroscience neuroanatomy and behavioral and clinical neuroscience.
