Nancy Jane Ramey (born June 29 1940) is an American former competition swimmer Olympic medalist and former world record-holder in two events. She represented the United States at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where she received a silver medal in the women’s 100 metre butterfly.At time of the Olympics she was a student at Mercer Island High School. Ramey later attended the University of Washington and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
