Nadira Begg is a Canadian television journalist who was the former anchor of CBC News: Northbeat on the CBC North system in the Canadian territories. Born and raised in Yellowknife Northwest Territories Begg is of mixed Gwich’in and Indo-Fijian descent. She is the granddaughter of John Tetlichi the first Gwich’in person to serve on the Legislative Council of the Northwest Territories.
