Myron Bierdeman Gessaman (October 15 1894–August 20 1975) was the 42nd mayor of Columbus Ohio and the 38th person to serve in that office. He was elected in 1935 and served Columbus during the Great Depression. After one term in office he was defeated in the 1939 mayoral election by Floyd F. Green.He obtain a bachelor’s degree from Western Reserve University. Joined the United States Army when the United States entered World War I.
