Murray Sabrin (born December 21 1946) is a professor of finance in the Anisfield School of Business Ramapo College of New Jersey. In 2008 he was a candidate for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate in New Jersey the seat currently held by Democrat Cory Booker. He lost in the Republican primary to Dick Zimmer a former member of the House of Representatives. He is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Senator Cory Booker in 2014
